Biography

A professional specializing in strategic marketing, business technology, and digital transformation, Sandrine Rioux has, throughout her career, supported Quebec organizations across various sectors in carrying out modernization and development projects. This diverse range of experiences has enabled her to develop a strong ability to adapt, a solid understanding of complex issues, and a resolutely solution-oriented approach.

A native of Chibougamau, Sandrine Rioux has deep ties to Ungava and Northern Quebec. It was in this region that she grew up, developed her sense of community, and gained a practical understanding of northern realities—whether regarding access to services, housing, the cost of living, or economic development. She also understands the strengths that set the region apart: resilience, solidarity, and the richness of its communities.

With a bachelor’s degree in business administration, specializing in information systems management, she hopes to use her expertise to promote modern, sustainable, and inclusive development. Convinced that the best decisions are made in consultation with the citizens and communities involved, she believes that Ungava’s future is built by taking into account the realities and aspirations of Nunavik, Eeyou Istchee, and Jamésie.

With a long history of civic engagement dating back to her youth and having been active in the Quebec Liberal Party for several years, Sandrine Rioux champions a vision based on a strong economy, accessible public services, a strong Quebec identity, and greater autonomy for the regions. She now hopes to put her energy, experience, and deep attachment to Northern Quebec to work for the citizens of Ungava.
