Sylvain Houle

Biography

With nearly 40 years of experience in social work and counseling, Sylvain has dedicated his career to supporting individuals and families through sometimes difficult times. Over the years, he worked notably at the Youth Services Department, where he was called upon to assist youth, individuals, and families facing complex situations. His career path also led him to work for three years within an Indigenous community on the Lower North Shore, an experience that enriched his understanding of the unique realities of communities in the region.

Today, he continues his professional commitment in private practice, providing counseling and family mediation services. Throughout all these experiences, Sylvain has always been committed to being there for people, listening to them, and supporting them with respect and kindness.
